Mike Martz is the offensive coordinator, but that doesn’t mean what it used to as his magic evaporated in the Motor City. What it does mean is more deep passes and less running the ball. Ok, so who’s passing the ball? I don’t know. The leading candidate might be unheralded journey [...]

I expect Felix Jones to be one of the few rookies that can be expected to be an impact player in his first year. Dallas’ #22 pick was expected, but wise. With Jones, the Cowboys have a complete change of pace back to compliment Marion Barber. Jones contrasts Barber in [...]
Fantasy Football Blog - Don’t forget that after his horrible first two games, Ronnie Brown tallied 4 rushing TDs and 537 rushing yards in his next five games before being injured. He also had a stellar 389 receiving yards and 1 TD in 7 games.
With the addition of huge Jake Long out of Michigan [...]

Marion Barber no longer will split carries with Julius Jones. That’s good news, but there’s a caveat.
The last two seasons, Marion Barber has had very big seasons - especially when you consider that he wasn’t even the starter. Last year he totaled 1200+ yards and 12 TDs. In 2006, he compiled 16 [...]

Fantasy Football Blog The Jets are definitely trying to improve their line.
Pro Bowl left guard Alen Faneca became the highest paid offensive lineman after signing with the Jets. He had previously been a key cog to the Steelers running game.
Damien Woody played for the Lions in 2006, but sat out last season. I’m [...]

One of the things I love about football is its a bottom line business. You’re either getting the job done or your not.
Alexander wasn’t getting the job done. Period. And that makes two straight years. You can claim injuries but it looked to me like a case of fat contractitis. [...]

This is a big move as far as fantasy football is concerned.
Turner is easily a top 3 round pick in a 12 team redraft.
He’ll still have to split time with Norwood, but I expect him to get a ton of carries.
Early predictions:
1,100 yards
150 recieving yards
7 tds rush
1 td rec

Larry Johnson finally ended his holdout and signed a five-year deal worth $43.2 million. He has less than three weeks to go before the Chiefs’ season opener against the Houston Texans, but that should be enough time for him to pretty much get up to speed. I still rank him third among fantasy running backs, [...]

Cincinnati Bengals running back Kenny Irons will miss his entire rookie season with the ACL injury he suffered in the team’s first preseason game. Irons becomes the latest in a growing line of rookie Bengals running backs to be bitten by the injury bug. With Chris Perry starting the season on the PUP list, Kenny [...]

A lot of fantasy football players are expecting big things out of Ronnie Brown this season. New coach Cam Cameron had great success with LaDainian Tomlinson as the offensive coordinator, and now everyone is expecting Brown to rack up the yard in his system. Doesn’t Tomlinson deserve some credit for his stellar numbers? I do [...]
