ESPN: Terrell Owens Overrated?
What a weak headline. Terrell Owens is a stud in real life and the fantasy world. He’s basically a walking 12 TDs and 1200 yards guaranteed a season. He is a tough guy - on the field - that plays through pain and stays in shape. (I’m not a fan of him crying in Tony Romo’s defense.)
You can say he’s a distraction and I don’t think to some degree anybody can dispute that. The guy has the media all over him whether he does good or bad. ESPN and Trey Wingo try to create stuff when he’s just playing football and scoring touchdowns. Skip Bayless despises him and even tried to bash him after a 4 TD game.
I mean a 4 TD game and you’re trying to downplay that? Bayless wouldn’t even give him credit which really makes him look unobjective and in essence makes more people realize what he really is - an old bitter guy with a sharp tongue that ESPN wants to showcase for some unknown reason.
Basically ESPN wants TO’s situation to be negative so if it is like when he was with the Eagles - they’re loving it and if it isn’t - they make up something.
Overrated? Far from it. I’ll take TO late second round any day of the week.
