Preseason Games of 8/19-8/20
Sunday’s New York vs. Baltimore game was one of those preseason games you hate to see. Not only was it a sloppily played game, but it was filled with various injuries. Expect a report here soon if any of the injuries turn out to have a fantasy impact. The only bright spot in this game was New York averaging 5.4 yards per carry against the tough Ravens defense. That, coupled with the Giants’ plan to give Brandon Jacobs 20-25 carries a game is making him a good choice as a #2 RB for most teams.
The Bears/Colts game on Monday night was also not exactly the picture of perfect execution, either, with a combined six turnovers. At least Peyton Manning was Peyton Manning in his limited time on the field. And Rex Grossman was also Rex Grossman–which usually is not a good thing.
